Celebrating and Advancing Women’s Health
Welcome to the annual educational event hosted by HealthyWomen, where we come together to celebrate and advance women's health. This event aims to highlight the contributions of esteemed healthcare leaders in female health while emphasizing the role of education, research, policy, and innovation on women's health. Event Schedule
The event will take place on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Library in Washington D.C. The dress code for the event is business attire.
Check-in and Reception
The event will begin with a check-in and rooftop reception from 5:00-6:00 p.m. This will be an opportunity for attendees to network and connect with other individuals who share a passion for women's health. Passed hors d'oeuvres will be served during the reception, creating a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere.
Speakers’ Time
From 6:00-7:00 p.m., we will have the privilege of listening to inspiring speakers who have made significant contributions to women's health. Our lineup of speakers includes Janet Woodcock, M.D., the Principal Deputy Commissioner of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (retired), and U.S. Senator Lisa Murkowski from Alaska. These esteemed individuals will share their insights and experiences, offering valuable perspectives on the current state and future directions of women's health.
Panel Discussions
Following the speakers' session, we will have an engaging panel discussion facilitated by Samantha Skey, the CEO of SHE Media. The panel will feature experts in the field who will delve deeper into topics related to women's health. Our esteemed panelists include:
